RevPAR vs ADR: Which Metric Matters More?
ADR measures rate on sold rooms; RevPAR measures revenue across all available rooms including empty inventory. Boutique hotels should manage RevPAR as the primary weekly KPI, then use ADR to diagnose whether problems are pricing or occupancy after OTA fees are subtracted.
